About my educational trips

My name is Sona Hovhannisyan, I Study at “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” Educational Complex in 12 grade. I specialize in science, especially in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Math. During my study I actively take part in different scientific clubs, where we discuss lots of themes, which sometimes leads to debates, but I like it because by debating I obtain experience, and practice my language, besides it’s a great source of information as we incorporate. It requires lots of knowledge for confirming and reasoning our motivations or facts. All this I do with great pleasure, because I know that now in the 21st century when the science growth is taking great steps day by day, simply we don't need to  be behind the time. Scientists make many discoveries in different aspects of life and Science. So we become closer to disclose mysteries and continue discovering and exploring the world around us. Many students and I are ready to develop our per formative skills to make our own studies, we have headed into a new millennium of information, where information is the most valuable thing. Besides the knowledge obtained at school I take part in international gatherings, where I exchange my opinions, experience and of course the knowledge obtained during the collaboration with other representatives will be beneficial to my further activities.

Last year in 2012, I was sent to Georgia by the Government of Armenia, to International Summer School of Science, Sponsored by "CERN" (European Organization for Nuclear Research) international science corporation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CERN,   and Buckswood International School http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckswood_International_School_%E2%80%93_Tbilisi .  
its been already 2 years since I'm participating in Bird Science and Ecology in AUA (American University in Armenia). 
The Armenian Government, mainly Eco minster, with our school “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” Educational Complex, and other schools from different parts of Armenia, also schools from Georgia, for the first time gathered "Eco tour" competition, where students presented by 4-5 member groups, and showed their best presentations, the jury chose the best works, our group won second place, our work was about GMO and Radiation.
